After what was a very close and exciting end to the seson, West London's London League team ended up top in the London League. This ensures promotion into Division 2. Check out the league table -well don team!
Update: It turns out that because Wimbledon fielded an ineligable player vs Lewisham, Lewisham get an extra ½-point, finishing on the same 8 match points as West London. Because Lewisham have 2½ more game points, they snatch the league victory from us. Both West London and Lewisham are promoted.
West London's second team in the Middlesex League are now the champions elect of Division 3! The championship was secured by winning at Barnet Knights' home venue last night, reaching a points total of 7.5, which cannot be surpassed by any other team.
The team will now be promoted to the second division. Congratulations to captain Adrian Barron and everyone who has played in the team this season.
The first team in the Middlesex League have had a challenging time, scoring only 3 out of 7 points. That said, many of the matches were very close. The second team in Division 3 are doing exceptionally well, scoring 5 points out of 6! Three of the remaining four matches are being held at home, so there is good chance for promotion to Division 2 if we keep winning.
In the London Leage, the first team is doing reasonably well, scoring 2.5 out of 4, but there are 7 matches left. In the new fun division, the second team have scored only 1 from 4, but that's OK since it's only for fun
