Prize Winners
  • The winner on 5 points: Mark Lyell (won £22, made a £12 donation)
  • Second place on 4.5 points: Colum Jezierski (won £18)
  • Best Under-150 on 4 points: Raghu Kamath (won £18)
  • Best Under-120 on 3 points:
    • Jesus Martinez (won £6, made a £1 donation)
    • Paul Bombal (won £6, made a £6 donation)
    • Barry Sutton (£6, to be awarded).

Particularly memorable was:

  • Andy's controversial FIDE Law 10.2 draw claim in round 3, which was awarded.
  • Colum's mad time scramble vs Mark in round 4, finishing in a draw by 3-fold repetition, just after Mark's flag had fallen first! To be fair, Mark had just arrived back from abroad and started late with just 10 minutes on the old Fulham clock.
  • The final round 2nd place deciding game between Andy and Colum, which was a tricky game.
