After what was a very close and exciting end to the seson, West London's London League team ended up top in the London League. This ensures promotion into Division 2. Check out the league table -well don team!
Update: It turns out that because Wimbledon fielded an ineligable player vs Lewisham, Lewisham get an extra ½-point, finishing on the same 8 match points as West London. Because Lewisham have 2½ more game points, they snatch the league victory from us. Both West London and Lewisham are promoted.
If you missed out on qualifying for this year's British Land UK Chess Challenge Megafinal, there is still a chance to do so on Saturday, 19th April. The tournament is open to children under 18 years of age on 1st September 2007.
